EBARC Members' Stations

EBARC President Randy Jenkins, KA6BQF, works many public service events with this impressive mobile set-up on his Chevy pickup.

EBARC member Gary Elliott, WA6KCP, doesn't need (or have) a station at home as he's always able to use the one on the USS Red Oak Victory. You'll often hear him on the air with the ROVARC club calls NY6CI or K6YVM. The station consists of a Kenwood TS940 transceiver, MFJ manual tuner, and Hustler trap vertical antenna for 80 through 10 meters. The vertical works great with the ship and bay as a ground plane.

The station of W6DEI consists of a Yaesu FT-920 transceiver, MFJ-969 manual tuner, Alinco 35amp power supply, a Yaesu rotor controller, Bencher paddles, and a laptop for digital modes. Current antennas are homebrewed 40 meter inverted vee wire (tunable on higher bands) and an aluminum Moxon rectangle for 20 meters.

Jack's Shack - K6JEB

You think Jack, K6JEB, likes to work CW????

Jerry, KG6TT, his kitty, and his gear.

The antenna farm of Jerry, KG6TT. Jerry calls it an "antenna garden." "I water it but it just doesn't seem to grow." What modesty!

Vern, AA6YE, and his pristine Kenwood TS820S.
